Our Patients love Dr. Johnsen!

Dr.Johnsen did an amazing job on my surgery & making sure I recovered well after. I would recommend him to everyone. Best surgeon in town & he cares about you getting back to 100% again! Everyone in his office is really nice too. His PA was great! He did surgery on my Father-in-law’s arthritic foot years ago & he is doing much better since!

I had a previously failed surgery repaired with Dr. Steen Johnsen and PA Jared Susini and have to say not only was the surgery a success but so was finding TOCA!!! I will never have a surgery performed anywhere else. From first visit to last follow-up my entire experience was extraordinary to say the least. I was treated with the utmost respect and my situation was dealt with in a “personal to my particular problem” manner. TOCA is hands down the best orthopedic clinic in the valley and would recommend them to any one for any reason!!!

Shout out to Dr. Steen Johnsen for a great surgery that happened 2 weeks ago and a perfect incision. Could not ask for a better doctor!! I want to refer EVERYONE to Dr. Johnsen that has any foot or ankle problems. One of the most caring doctor’s I have seen. Thanks Johnsen!!

Thank you for the best experience I could hope for. My doctor is Dr. Steen Johnsen and I had foot/ ankle surgery 4/25/16. I was scared, apprehensive and worried. I had a previous foot surgery, bunion removal and morton neuroma. The surgeries were healing and then I fell in a pot hole at work and needed further reconstruction. Dr. Johnsen became my doctor through Workman’s comp who denied my claim. I had to wait a year at current position before short term disability would kick in. I met with Dr. Johnsen again and he remembered me and was optimistic and willing to help alleviate my pain. He went over his plan extensively in terms I could understand. He let me know what was my next step and what I would expect before, during and after surgery. Dr Johnson requested an MRI and explained what procedures he would do. It was over whelming and scary but I had confidence in his words and the research i was provided. He is the best in his field. I had several procedures and a cast for 5 weeks. When I first saw my foot I cried and knew he, his staff and PT would help me to heal. Its been about 3 months and I am back to work, gym and eager to hike very soon. My foot is a little swollen. When I had a previous surgery with Dr. Jacoby my foot was swollen over a year and couldn’t wear sandals, only tennis shoes. I’m wearing sandals about a week now. (don’t tell doctor) and my confidence is high. He has a plan and it works. I recommend Dr. Johnsen and his staff. They are the best.

Dr. Duhon is one of the best hip and knee replacement surgeons in the valley. I am a nurse and have had complications with my knee and need a replacement done. Although he didn’t give me the answer I wanted, he gave me the honest and correct answer. He could have lied and made money, but he didn’t. He did knee replacement surgery on a friend who is a nurse, and she was back to work in 8 weeks and is doing great 6 months later. I did my research and when I can have surgery in the future, he will be my choice. Dr. Steen Johnsen did my arthroscopy and did a great job. Both Doctors as well as the physical therapy department are friendly, answer questions, and are caring. However, I  was seen at the Glendale location. FYI I was an Orthopedic nurse in the past, and I am picky about who I see and recommend. Dr. Duhon also saw my father. So I highly recommend both Doctors. If they can work on sports teams they have to be good.
